Thomas H. Handy Sazerac
Named after the New Orleans bartender who first used rye whiskey in the Sazerac Cocktail, this uncut and unfiltered Straight Rye Whiskey is bottled directly from the barrel, just as it was over a century ago. Full of rich flavors, this authentic American rye whiskey is a symbol of the timeless history of New Orleans and the legacy of Thomas H. Handy.
TASTING NOTES:
Powerful, lush, and boldly spicy. Flavors of toffee, fig cake, and candied fruit, followed by mint, cinnamon and clove. The finish ultimately reveals subtle notes of allspice, coconut and nutmeg. Long and warm.
NOTE: Every month we will be raffling a bottle of Thomas Handy Sazerac. Very limited quantities of this most sought after Rye Whiskey. Please see a store associate for further details.

This weeks Friday tasting
Adesso Cagnina Di Romagna Italian Red Wine - Pleasantly sweet but not a dessert wine. This wine has pleasant aromas of red berries and flavors of black raspberries, cherries and spice. Low in alcohol, Adesso is a fun and easy to drink red wine for those who prefer their wines off dry. Enjoy with fruit desserts and mild cheeses.
Roto Cabernet Sauvignon - The grapes for Roto are sourced from a ten-hectare vineyard tucked inside the Maule Valley. The Maule Valley is a rolling, green landscape spanning Chile's countryside from the Andean foothills to the Pacific Ocean. Maule's Secano Interior (dry farmed vineyards) has been at the cradle of Chilean viticulture for over five centuries. Tasting Notes: This wine evokes hints of mulberry, plum and violets. Try it slightly chilled or however you enjoy your refreshing reds.
Château l'Eperonniere Rosé de Loire - This small property in Beaufort-sur-Layon was bought by the Tijou family, former owners of Château Soucherie, a few years ago. Brigitte and Pierre-Yves have taken a backseat, though, and the estate is run by their son Mathieu and his wife Charlotte. Their rosé is a racy blend of Cabernet Franc and Grolleau.
