Rose Wine Tasting

  • APOTHIC ROSE LIMITED RELEASE - Peer into the secret garden, beyond the veiled gate. Among pale petals, lies a refreshing new blend. This cut of Apothic Rose is a fragrant and succulent blend, snipped fresh from the vine to create ripe flavors of strawberry and watermelon. Apothic Rose derives its vibrant hue from an ancient winemaking practice called saignée, which means 'to bleed' intense color from the grape's red skin. This limited release rosé is best enjoyed chilled.
  • FLEUR DE MER ROSE - Fragrant beauty of Provence. The vineyards of Fleur de Mer are found in the Côtes de Provence, in a celebrated region known as the “golden triangle.” Intensely aromatic, the elegant lavender and violet floral notes of Fleur de Mer evoke the purple-dotted hillsides and romantic seaside villages of Provence. Ripe fruit notes of watermelon, cherry and raspberry highlight the refreshing, medium-bodied palate, while hints of citrus, rose petal and minerality add appealing complexity and crisp freshness. On the long and soft finish, flavors of ripe peach and succulent melon blend with the fresh herbal and floral notes of garrigue. Made by vintner Florian Lacroux of the exclusive Les Maîtres Vignerons de Saint-Tropez co-operative, Fleur de Mer is a blend of 82% Grenache, 9% Cinsault and 9% other select Provençal reds.

  • DARK HORSE ROSE - With wine buffs everywhere reaching for Rosé, Dark Horse just couldn't resist exploring the untapped potential of summer's favorite cool-down. Don't let the pale color fool you, this wine's only blushing because of all the attention. Most bottles of Rosé are imported from France or created as small batch offerings from U.S. producers. Both come with a premium price tag. With that in mind, Dark Horse winemaker, Beth Liston, decided to take summer by the grapes and create a crisp, dry Rosé that pairs perfectly with sunshine and backyard budgets.
